Oceana Canada’s annual Fishery Audit assesses the current state and management of Canada’s fish stocks, tracks progress and provides recommendations to meet federal policy commitments. This year’s Audit finds that only 35% of wild fish stocks are considered healthy, 17% are critically depleted, and numerous key species are on the brink of further decline.
