Carolyn Seabrook joined Oceana Canada in January 2022 as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, bringing more than 20 years of broad experience in non-profit administration and finance management. Prior to joining Oceana, Carolyn was a senior member of the program operations management team at a national conservation charity. As a core member of a small conservation program team, Carolyn has also managed the operations of a 10-year advocacy campaign that helped to create more than 1,000 terrestrial and marine protected areas in Canada.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys camping with her family, gardening, and travelling. She stays active outdoors and counts diving, and two lengthy treks in the Arctic among her most exciting and memorable experiences.
