On October 26, 2016, Oceana Canada held a science symposium to rebuild Canada’s fisheries. Rebuilding Abundance: Restoring Canada’s Fisheries for Long-Term Prosperity brought together Canadian and international experts to create a sustainable future for Canada’s oceans and fisheries. The symposium featured dynamic and interactive sessions and included welcoming remarks from Minister Dominic LeBlanc, a key note speech from Dr. Daniel Pauly and a lunch address from Alexandra Cousteau.
